The AGYU’s Protocols around Covid-19
York University requires all community members and visitors to be vaccinated against COVID-19, subject to medical and human rights exemptions in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Visitors to York’s campuses (including to the Art Gallery of York University) will be required to provide proof of full vaccination or an exemption based on validated medical or human rights grounds. Anyone visiting the campus, including visitors to the gallery, need to complete the YU Screening tool the day of their visit (https://yorku.ubixhealth.com/login). All information collected in the Screening tool is subject to strict privacy and confidentiality requirements.
While on campus, you are encouraged to follow these public health guidelines:
- Maintain a physical distance of 2 metres from others,
- Practice frequent hand hygiene
- Practice respiratory etiquette by coughing and sneezing into your sleeve
- Wear a mask or face covering in all enclosed spaces
- Wear eye protection (e.g., face shield) in addition to a mask or face covering if within 2 meters of someone not wearing a mask
